This month was so special because it was our babies first Christmas! It was so much fun he loved to open presents but didn’t like santa one bit! He got a walking toy for christmas and loves to push it and walk around. He has his first New Years Eve party but was feeling very sick that night. He ended up having croup and we took him to the walk in clinic at the hospital. He is just starting to feel better now, thank goodness!
Sometimes you meet a person and you just click. You’re comfortable with them, like you’ve known them your whole life, and you don’t have to pretend to be anyone or anything.
These girls know me. Girls who I can be my true self around. They know my faults. They know my strengths. And they have loved me for it. The good, the bad and the ugly. These 6 girls have loved me through it all.
PS. ALL these ladies are amazing hairstylist
YOU GUYS!!! We have gotten so much done on our trailer and it’s looking awesome! Last post I wrote “I still have to sew new curtains, flooring, paint all the green, hang up a mirror/pictures, paint the outside, put the cupboards back on, and find some cute throw pillows!”
Sew curtains- DONE
Flooring/pictures- trying to find stuff we like
Paint the outside- we have it sanded now we just have to paint it
Paint all the green- DONE
Put the cupboards back on- DONE
Throw pillows- DONE
Oh, I still have to put the furnace cover on too.
Here are some photos of it without the curtains hung up yet! I painted all of the green a light purple. The table has been taken off to paint and lay the flooring.
The trailer has been such a fun project for me this summer! Here are the things that I have fixed up on it so far.
Everything is painted white so far except for the green around the fridge and heater. I am still trying to decide what colour I should go with for that!
Cupboards after. We still have to put them up once we paint the green.
I still have to sew new curtains, flooring, paint all the green, hang up a mirror/pictures, paint the outside, put the cupboards back on, and find some cute throw pillows!
Yesterday marked a month since Hendrix has been in our lives. I never realized how hard it would be for me to see my baby growing this fast. A month goes by so fast and our little boy has changed to much already. He is holding his head up very well, everyone can’t believe how strong and sturdy he is. At his two week appointment he was 8 pounds 14 ounces so he is getting bigger, but not out of newborn clothing yet! We are so blessed with how he sleeps at night, usually 5 hour stints!
As much as I am excited for the future, I wish I could press pause on life right now. I want to cherish these cuddly moments with my son. These days have been the best days of my life so far.
First doctor appointment at two weeks old.
And she loved a little boy very, very much – even more than she loved herself.
