And I ordered this duvet cover from Urban Outfitters. I can’t wait for it all to come together! Next step is to re cover all the couch cushions and sew new curtains. It’s hard being one of the most picky people around because I have been to three different stores looking for fabric and I can’t find anything I remotely like. Hopefully something magically comes up soon for me!
I can’t wait to get started on making it beautiful! I want to go with a bohemian/plaid/aztec/camping feel. Make sense? If not here are some photos of my inspiration…

One of my very best friends Karly got engaged recently so I decided to throw her a small engagement party on friday night with our close girlfriends. We had lots of food, wine and best of all FUN!
The next day I came home and there was a present with a ring pop and champagne in it, with a balloon attached to the present saying pop me! I popped the balloon and a piece of paper (and a million confetti hearts that are still all over my kitchen) flew out saying “I can’t say ‘I do’ without you. Will you be my bridesmaid?”
I am so excited to stand up for her next summer!
From the second he was born he was mine and I was his.
I need him as much as he needs me.
He now weighs a little over 13 pounds and is still sleeping awesome! The day he turned three months old he rolled over from his tummy to his back. Which means he no longer has to suffer threw tummy time! He has also officially mastered the cutest pouty lip I have ever seen.
For the Canada Day long weekend we went to one of my best friends cabins. It is a place I have gone to almost every summer since I was a little girl. I love going to the cabin because it is like a breath of fresh air. Being engulfed in nature. The smells, the sounds, and the feeling I get when I go. It all brings me back to when I was 5 years old, with never a care in the world. Just pure joy.
